ARTIFACT: This is a copy of "The Overseas History of the 16th U.S.N. Construction Battalion" by Edgar B. Hickey, Capt. CEC, USNR, Retired. The 16th worked on infrastructure both at Pearl Harbor and other Pacific islands. The book deals with the 16th "Seabees" activities during World War II although it was published in October 1971. Also included with the booklet are two 16th Seabees Association newsletters from 1969 and 1970.

VINTAGE: Published October 1971.

SIZE: Booklet: 14 pages, approximately 11-1/8" in height and 8-5/8" in width; two 4-page newsletters: 8-1/2" x 11" each.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Construction paper cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy unit history collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. LAAEX9/13

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The book has some areas of fading/creasing to the cover; some handwriting and small rips to the edges of the newsletters.
