ARTIFACT:
Circa 1970's - 1980's Watts (Security) Patrol Captain's Badge. The center of the badge is raised and features a nice high relief detail image of the Watts Security emblem, circling the emblem is a blue enameled ring. The top of the badge features an eagle with a bowed head and wings spread, beneath reads: "CAPTAIN WATTS PATROL", the base of the badge features two stamped five point stars. Watts Security was established by a retired Boston cop in 1912 and still offering security services today.

Circa 1970's – 1980's.
SIZE:
Approximately 2 - 1/2" x 1 - 5/8".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gilt, chrome plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel.

6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear mostly to high points, some of the gilt and enamel details remain intact.
