ARTIFACT: This is a 1963 copy of the Victoria and Albert Museum "Swords and Daggers" by John Hayward. The book covers swords and daggers in the Museum's collection, treated as weapons as well as part of the masculine attire, from the very end of the fifteenth century to the beginning of the nineteenth century. This was published at Her Majesty's Stationery Office at London.

VINTAGE: Published 1963.

SIZE: 12 pages plus 46 plates = 58 pages; approximately 8-3/8" in height and 5-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: LONDON HER MAJESTY'S STATIONERY OFFICE 1963; Wt. 2306 K40 S.O. Code No. 29-1559-0-62 (inside back cover).
