ARTIFACT: This is a 1962 United States Navy CVA-64 jacket patch made in Japan for the aircraft carrier USS Constellation. The patch reads 19 SOUTH AMERICAN CRUISE 62 USS CONSTEALLTION CVA-64 and shows an aircraft carrier cruising northeast of South America.

VINTAGE: Circa 1962.

SIZE: 5-15/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch with cotton thread and muslin backing.
