ARTIFACT: This is a submarine jacket patch for the United States Navy's USS Henry Clay SSBN-625, a ballistic missile submarine. The patch is circular and shows a missile headed skyward above a globe and a pair of fish. The patch reads PRESERVATIO AB NATIO USS HENRY CLAY SSBN 625.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: 5" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully- embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
