ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Medical Department Activity at Fort Hood, Texas. The DI is a scales holding water at the center of a white star and reads CARE AND CONCERN.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: S-21 MADE IN U.S.A.
