ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States Army Air Defense Artillery School by Ira Green. The DI has a winged projectile above a V of thunderbolts at its center and reads MILITANT.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: IRA GREEN INC. G23.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LAJX12/11

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish with some minor crazing to the enamel.
