ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 62nd Engineer Battalion by Ira Green. The DI is a red and silver crest bearing a trestle and reads MALLEIS MILITO (I soldier with a hammer).

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: G23 IRA GREEN INC.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAL93 LABX10/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light to moderate abrasions only.
