ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 317th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows two crossed machine guns and reads BE JUST AND FEAR NOT.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, Meyer maker's mark, 22M.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LABX4/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows some light wear; one post is lightly bent.
