ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia or the United States 29th Field Artillery Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows a red crest bearing a sunflower (the state flower of Kansas) between two shells and reads FIDLEIS ET VERUS (faithful and true).

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch back catches

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker mark, shield with 22M.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LABX10/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows only one spot of light wear to the enamel.
