ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s United States Army 16th Signal Battalion DI. The DI is an orange crest with a wavy blue banner and three vectors and reads COMMUNICATIONS FIRST.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, 22M, Meyer maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be this one or one very similar. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX4/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some very small spots of light wear to the enamel and the posts are slightly bent.
