ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 159th Aviation Battalion. The DI is enameled in blue and red with a background pattern representing helicopter blades with a golden dragon nodding to Vietnam service and reads PRESS ON.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK 22M Meyer maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX4/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows some light abrasions only.
