ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 13th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows a cartridge box labeled FORTY ROUNDS at its top and reads FIRST AT VICKSBURG on a scroll at the bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: SUSCO S-21.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI has some moderate abrasions and one ding to the enamel.
