ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1960s Penguin lighter for the United States Air Force Western Test Range at Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The front of the lighter has a blue and white enameled emblem and the reverse a small engraved map of the Atoll area.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" height and 1-1/4" width and 7/16" thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge.

MARKINGS: HIGH QUALITY LIGHTER PENGUIN NO. 19531 JAPAN.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a lighter collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay RCL94 LDEX1/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lighter shows some moderate scratching.
