ARTIFACT: 1960's Maplewood, Minnesota Civil Defense Volunteer Badge #37 with a nice convex enamel 'CD' shield. Around the center of the badge it reads: "CIVIL DEFENSE MAPLEWOOD", an eagle tops the badge with his wings spread and just below it reads: "VOLUNTEER", the bottom of the badge is numbered '37'.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass and enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil defense collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX15 LAAEX5/15

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear and oxidation in some areas, nearly all the enameled details remain fully intact.
