ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 562nd Air Defense Artillery by Vanguard. The DI shows a spearlike arrow piercing a winged dragon and reads TUEBOR (I will defend), Michigan's state motto.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: VANGUARD V-21.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LABX10/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI has only light wear and one post is slightly bent.
