ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 39th Engineer Battalion by Ira Green. The DI shows Paul Bunyan's ox Babe and reads FIGHT, BUILD AND DESTROY.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height by 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: G23 IRA GREEN CO. MADE IN USA.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. V/A95 LABX10/11 SABX03/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows some very light wear only.
