ARTIFACT: 1960's ??? 1970's Philadelphia fire department Assistant Fire Marshall badge. The badge features a raised center showing the State Seal in nice relief detail with a lovely enameled shield embellishment and surrounding it reads: "ASS'T FIRE MARSHALL FIRE DEPARTMENT PHILA". The outer ring of the badge features a wreath embellishment and four lovely yellow and blue enameled plates.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's ??? 1970's

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass, enamel, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEP16 LAGEX6/16 TRAGEX10/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The pin shows minor to moderate surface wear, much of the plating and enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
