ARTIFACT:
This is a 1960's - 1970's Colorado State & Adams County Motor Vehicle Badge Grouping of Joe Ontiveros.
VINTAGE:
1960s - 1970s.
SIZE:
Approximately, Badge #5: 2-7/8" in height x 2-7/16" in width. Badge with no Number: 2-7/8" in height x 2-7/16" in width. Badge with "COLO" panel: 2-5/8" in height x 1-7/8" in width. Name Plate: 3/8" in height x 2-5/8" in width. Patch: 4-3/8" in height x 3-1/2" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Badges: Nickel Plated nickel and painted letterings. Name-plate: brass with painted lettering. Patch: Wool Felt, cotton and silk thread and mesh backing, and plastic name plate with brass backing.
ATTACHMENT:
Badge: Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch. Single screw post with disk backing. Name Plate: Tow pins with crutch backings. Patch: Two pins with crutch backings.

CONDITION:
8+ (Excellent): The badges are little to minor wear, and Patch is in great condition on front, and small damage on mesh backing. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
