ARTIFACT:
This is a hardcover copy of "Aircraft Camouflage and Markings 1907-1954" by Bruce Robertson, a British author. This book contains many photographs and illustrations, some in color, of aircraft markings from around the world. The author explains that this book was published to supersede two earlier works written during the war when he understandably did not have the full cooperation of the National Museums and the applicable "Official Sources" (Air Ministry, etc.). This was published in 1956, and was inscribed in the front by a former owner.
