ARTIFACT: This is a 1953 (Korean War period) Chance Vought Aircraft presentation Zippo lighter.

VINTAGE: Circa 1953.

SIZE: About 1-1/2" in width by 2-1/4" in height and about 1/2" in depth (standard Zippo size).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated steel. Factory engraved.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Back: engraved THIS GRATUITY HAS NOT INFLUENCED ME ONE G.D. BIT, and bottom: ZIPPO MFG.CO. BRADFORD, PA MADE IN ZIPPO U.S.A. PAT. 2517191 (R) PAT. PEND.

ITEM NOTES: These lighters that I am currently listing are part of a large collection that I have accumulated over the last 15 years. I will be selling more of this collection over the next few months. VBCX05 LACEX1/11 SACEX8/11

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The finish on this lighter is very nice, and some small sections of paint have worn away.
