ARTIFACT: This is a great 1950s submariner's coffee mug from the United States Navy USS Albacore (AGSS-569), which was commissioned in 1953 as a test sub and can now be seen at Albacore Park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The mug shows a dolphin insignia and belonged to R.P. Coy, EMC (SS).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" height and 4-3/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Ceramic.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: AMERICAN DECORATORS INC. 15 COATES STREET TRENTON 10, N.J.
