ARTIFACT: 1950's United States Post Office Department Postal Transportation service clerk badge in stamped nickel. The center of the badge is an oval with the letters: "U.S." overlapping in the center surrounded by thirteen stars and the words: "POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT POSTAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE" and the base of the badge is numbered "92871", a standing eagle is perched at the top of the badge clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 2 3/8" x 2 1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with come under catch.

MARKINGS: None.
