ARTIFACT: Circa 1950's United States Navy 30 Year Service Pin. The 10K gold pin shows a spread-winged eagle with a shield on its chest. The shield reads: "SERVICE" along the top, and shows the number: "30" and is centered between the words: "UNITED STATES", and it reads: "YEARS" below the shield in raised lettering centered within a lovely wreath embellishment. A blue enameled scroll along the base of the pin reads: "DEPT OF NAVY" and the reverse shows a diamond-shaped maker's mark and reads: "10K"

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height x 1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10K gold, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: Diamond-shaped maker's mark, "10K"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USN collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAPL95 LIEX2/16 SeVABEX06/19/21

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The pin shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
