ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s United States Army 74th Ordnance Company DI. The DI shows an impressively enameled red missile at its center and reads PARATUS ET VERSATILES (ready and versatile).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER NEW YORK and Meyer maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX95 LBDX4/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some light wear and a medium tarnish.
