ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 43rd Air Defense Artillery Regiment by Vanguard. The DI is a crest with a golden bend bearing three green oozlefinches and reads SUSTINEMUS (we support).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS: VANGUARD N.Y. 1V.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LABX12/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows light wear and tarnish only.
