ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 33rd Infantry Regiment. The DI shows a horizontal sword bayonet against a triangular field of cobalt blue and reads RIDENTES VENIMUS (smiling we come).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX10/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some very small scattered spots of light wear to the enamel.
