ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 1st Infantry Regiment in sterling silver. The DI is an oval belt with a red, white and blue crest at its center and reads SEMPER PRIMUS (always first).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LEEX10/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI has a small blemish and light crazing to the enamel.
