ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 104th Field Artillery Regiment by Minero-Newcombe & Company. The DI is a crest bearing a cannon and rammer, an oak tree, a gold star and the cross of Lorraine, all topped by a golden horse's head.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: MINERO-NEWCOME & CO. INC. N.Y.C.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months RI91 LBDX11/11
