ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s United States Marine Corps VMA-242 flight jacket patch. The base of the patch reads: "VMA PROMPTUS-VINDICARE 242"

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: About 4-3/4" in width by 5-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered with cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJX02 LADEX9/15

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Patch shows minor to moderate wear and spot of soiling, overall fine condition.
