ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950s lapel pin for membership in the Quarter Century Aviation Club. The group was formed in 1952 by Bill Windrum, a Canadian Airways pilot, and was for aviation enthusiasts with at least twenty-five years experience: an exclusive group at the time. The pin Is nicely enameled with a maple leaf at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RTAL93 LDEX9/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-): The pin shows only light wear with some discoloration to the reverse only.
