ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950s badge for the French Air Force Base School (Base Ecole) 726 at Nimes. The badge shows an eagle carrying a gear enameled in blue and reads "E.B. 726". It has a maker mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: A591.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows only some light wear and has a medium overall tarnish.
