ARTIFACT: This is a  This is a circa 1950's United States Post Office badge from Boston, Massachusetts. Postal Clerk/Employee Badge. #3476


VINTAGE: Circa 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass with blue enamel paint

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: #3476 stamped on front. PAT 2066969 under the pin on reverse. "U.S. GOVERNMENT PROPERTY / IF FOUND DROP IN MAILBOX".

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): Badge shows no wear on enameled area and moderate tarnishing on front and reverse.
