ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s USS Bon Homme Richard CVA 31 Carrier Ship lighter by Penguin. The ship is an aircraft carrier, US Naval Aviation and the ships logo is factory applied.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: About 1-1/4 in width by 1-3/4" in height by 1/2" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with factory-applied logo on front and factory engraving on back.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: HIGH QUALITY LIGHTER PENGUIN. NO. 19531 JAPAN.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Black Paint 50% present, but details are fine so not much of a distraction. Hinge tight.
