ARTIFACT: 1950's – 1960's Auto Transport truck driver lapel pin by New York maker. The nicely detailed lapel pin shows a blue enameled truck and trailer combination at the top and beneath a steering wheel embellishment that reads: "COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY ENGINEER" around the inside edge. The reverse shows a partially obscured maker's mark that reads: "(???) OUTFITTING CO. 276 W. 43 ST. N.Y.C."

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's – 1960's

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" x 3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback.

MARKINGS: "?? OUTFITTERS 276 W. 43rd ST. N.Y.C."

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The pin shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all of the gilt and enamel details remain intact.
