ARTIFACT: This is a 1945 patriotic advertising mirror from McClain Sand Company, Inc. in Pennsylvania, complete with thermometer and calendar. The upper half of the mirror has an ad for McClain, while the lower half shows a war plane flying over the Capitol and reads KEEP 'EM FLYING! Hanging from the bottom is a 1945 calendar (January is the only month missing).

VINTAGE: Circa 1945.

SIZE: Approximately 31" in length (including calendar) and 12" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, cardboard, mirror, twine.

ATTACHMENT: Twine.

MARKINGS: MOCKLEE (?) on jet picture.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The mirror has a sliver out of the top of it and some age spots; medium yellowing and some handwriting on calendar (January is missing).
