ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1945 badge for the French Joint Expeditionary Corps (Indochina). The badge shows France graced by the Cross of Lorraine, all against a red anchor. Ceci est un insigne pour le Corps Expeditionnaire Francais Interarmees (Indochine) circa 1945. Le badge affiche France honoree par la Croix de Lorraine, tous contre un point d'ancrage rouge.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1945.
SIZE:
Approximately 2" in height and 1-5/16" in width. Envers 5 cm par 3.3 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Plated brass with enamel. Laiton plaquZ d'Zmail.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin (pin missing) with "C" catch. Axe vertical (axe manquants) avec "C" attraper.
