ARTIFACT: This is a Rare & Beautiful circa 1944 United States Army Air Force 69th Fighter Squadron 58th Fighter Group 86th Fighter Wing 5th Airforce Aussie Made Jacket Patch.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944 WWII.

SIZE: Approximately: 4-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered on wool felt with leather backing,

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEJV16 LABGEX01/10/24

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, and area of moth-hole on front, and glue stain on leather backing. Overall, it is a rare and beautiful patch.
