ARTIFACT: This is an April 1944 United States Army Field Manual (FM5-20B) entitled "Camouflage of Vehicles". It is a Corps of Engineers publication and covers snow camouflage, camouflage using excavation and precautions taken during the camouflage process to minimize aerial observation. It has some color illustrations and black and white and color photographs to accompany the text.

VINTAGE: Published April 1944.

SIZE: 57 pages with some blank "Notes" pages at the end; approximately 8-1/2" in height and 5-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: United States Government Printing Office Washington 1944; Co. "H" 2nd BN, 26th INF stamped on front and back covers and first page.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Army Field Manual collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX95 LHEX12/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The book has some wear/fading to the covers and some light staining along the edge of some of the pages and the rear cover.
