ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1943 United States Women's Army Corps recruiting poster. The poster asks ARE YOU A GIRL WITH A STAR-SPANGLED HEART? A female soldier framed by a billowing American flag looks imploringly out for any like-minded "girls". The artist is Bradshaw Crandell, whose advertising art was widely published as early as the 1920s and very recognizable.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1943.
SIZE:
Approximately 35-3/8" in height by 25" in width (not including foam board).

This poster is shrink-wrapped to a piece of foam board. It will be shipped unwrapped and rolled without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting.
