ARTIFACT: This is a 1943 copy of the War (United States Army) and Navy Departments' "A Language Guide to North Africa". It deals with the primary languages of Morocco, Algeria and Libya: mainly French and Arabic. It has some illustrations to accompany the instructional text.

VINTAGE: Published 1943.

SIZE: 113 pages with a few blank Notes pages at the end; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE 1943.
