ARTIFACT: This is a 1943 copy of the United States Army Technical Guide (TM 30-341) entitled "Japanese: A Guide to the Spoken Language". It covers many useful Japanese words and phrases and examples of words on road signs. This booklet has some black-and-white cartoon illustrations.

VINTAGE: Published 1943.

SIZE: 59 pages; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.
