ARTIFACT: This is a 1942 United States War (Army) and Navy Department guide entitled "A Short Guide to Syria." This is a great — though out-dated — guide to the country, people and customs of Syria. It also has some useful phrases and words.

VINTAGE: Published 1942.

SIZE: 63 pages; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: 487430-O U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE: 1942.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The book has some areas of medium wear to the cover only and one page has a small amount of writing.
