ARTIFACT: This is a launching ribbon for the Submarine USS Shad SS-235 from Portsmouth Navy Yard on April 15, 1942 and bears the slogan "Remember Pearl Harbor". The SHAD earned six battle stars for World War II service.

VINTAGE: Circa 1942.

SIZE: About 2-1/4" in width by 5-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed silk.

ATTACHMENT: To be pinned on.

MARKINGS: None.
