ARTIFACT: This is a launching ribbon for the Submarine USS Sawfish SS-276 from Portsmouth Navy Yard on June 23, 1942 and bears the slogan Remember Pearl Harbor". The Sawfish earned eight battle stars for her World War II service.

VINTAGE: Circa 1942.

SIZE: About 2-1/4" in width by 5-3/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed silk.

ATTACHMENT: To be pinned on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The ribbon you receive will either be the one pictured or ones in very similar condition. This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX11 LFEX9/11
