ARTIFACT: This is a 1942 or earlier example of a USMC United States Marine Corps Officer Model 1937 EGA Eagle, Globe & Anchor Hat Badge Cover Badge in the Imperial Line by H&H Hilborn & Hamburger, for undress wear, on greens or khakis / tan uniform.

VINTAGE: Circa 1937 - 1942.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in height x 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lacquered blackened bronze with brass retaining screw..

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilizing post.

MARKINGS: Imperial
