ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1940s pin for five years of service with Market Basket Corporation of New York, a grocery store company. The pin is in sterling silver and red enamel and shows a small shopping basket in relief at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 9/16” in height and 11/16” in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: B.B. CO. STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a food and grocery collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX14 LDHX7/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has only light wear and tarnish to the reverse only.
