ARTIFACT: 1940's Hartford Special Machinery Co. 5 year service pin in sterling silver. The round pin features a center that depicts the company's letter logo: "HSM" and surrounding is a blue enameled ring that reads: "THE HARTFORD SPECIAL MACHINERY CO." The very outer edge resembles a gear plate and bottom center shows the number: "5". The company made aircraft for the war effort during WWII.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: "STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a manufacturing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX15 LDEX8/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lapel pin shows moderate wear, much of the enamel details remain intact.
