ARTIFACT:
1940's ??? 1950's United States Navy Police Petty Officer badge from Treasure Island Naval Station in San Francisco Bay. The large, convex seven point star badge reads: "POLICE PETTY OFFICER 369 TREASURE ISLAND". The front of the badge shows an odd crescent shaped depression from the manufacturing process and the reverse shows a pin replacement during the period of use.

Circa 1940's ??? 1950's

Approximately 3" x 3"

Nickeled brass, black paint
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

CONDITION:
7 (Very Fine): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, crescent shaped depression on front from manufacturing process, period replacement of pin, much of the painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
