ARTIFACT: This is a generic circa 1940s or 1950s California Special Officer Patrolman Special Police badge. The badge is quite large and bears several banners with enameled lettering. The badge is by Sun Badge Company of Los Angeles, California.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s-1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and plated brass, enamel details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: SUN BADGE CO. LOS ANGELES.
